We had a very fun-filled day at Mesker Park Zoo! The kids really enjoyed the feeding experiences (penguin and giraffe) and the carousel! There were also a few fun areas set up to take fall photos. I wish all the animals had been available to view though. Many were inside even though it wasn’t a cold day.

This is a great zoo for a small city. It is so shady with many mature trees and plants. Not every exhibit will always have an animal present but that is just zoo life and things happen and animals need care. It is so clean and the staff are all great. They are very professional and knowledgable. Evansville is so lucky to have this gem. Love the penguin exhibit.

Stopped here on our way home to stretch the kids legs for 45 minutes before jumping back into the car… wow! way bigger than we expected! Spent 3 hours unexpectedly. Lots of cool animals that aren’t at our home zoo in Milwaukee. The otter tunnel was our favorite part, followed by INDOOR carousel (because winter).

The zoo was really cool and fun. We had so great time at the zoo. They have several fun program for kids. For example, feeding Penguin, birds and giraffe. The park was good enough for walking around.

We love this zoo! They have a large selection of animals you don’t usually see. Plus, it’s a great place to get your steps in. There’s a small park/play area. All the extra stuff was closed, but we went on a weekday during winter break.

Our favorite pool! It’s clean and spacious. There is food, floating lounger rentals, and a mini shop if you forget or run out of poolside basics. The kids love the splash pad and the parents love the slides!

Me and my babies drove over 10 hours it was more like 11 in a half. When we got there it was great easy to find the cabin that was rented for our family reunion. The Pool was closed the first day because of rain but the next day of the reunion all of the kids went to the Pool and had a blast. The cabins and park are clean and well kept I have always loved going to Burdette Park and I’m glad my babies got to enjoy it like I done growing up.

Burdette Park is beautiful! My wife and I got married in 1980 and rented a shelter house for our reception. The rest of the family has been doing the same ever since. Burdette Park is a well maintained place from one end to the other and we are glad to have it in our community and we highly recommend it!!!

I came here for the Fantasy of Lights and took a carriage ride, and it was BREATHTAKING. You can drive through as well, which is better if you prefer to stay warm and are okay with missing the added experience of taking a carriage. However, I highly recommend taking the carriage, the drivers are very friendly and the experience alone is well worth the cost. Also, the horses are amazing. If you are a local this is a staple for the holidays, just be sure to bundle up and bring a few blankets. Even if you are from out of town I recommend paying this a visit, you won’t regret it!

Fishing and Bike riding, live bands and food trucks at Historic Bosse Field. Painted Rock hunting, Channel Catfish and Bluegills. Feeding Ducks and Squirrels, Baseball, and The New Deaconess Aquatic Center and a ⛲ Fountain.

Nice concrete path curving around the lake. Able to get right up to the water with the low banks and grassy edges. The goose gangs are quite large each and by group. Watching where you step can sometimes be challenging with all the droppings. That’s the worst thing about the park, but what are you gonna do right. Side note: the geese are not aggressive. I could walk right by a couple gangs of geese that were hanging out by the picnic tables smoking cigarettes and carving their names in the table. They just watched us walk by. So that’s always a plus.

My three sons and I go here almost daily. Plenty of sun and shade. Quiet, peaceful, and plenty of wildlife to watch.

Visiting Evansville and happened to stop at this interesting children’s park. It was way to neat to pass up. Anyone with children would be able to spend hours letting their kids have a fun and safe experience. The entire floor surface was covered with a soft injury free material that provided freedom from slips and falls. This was a neat place that made me wish I had little kids with me to have an excuse to play as well. I wish we had something like this back where I am from.

➕ Shalom! 🙏 ➕ Absolutely loved it! Playground is fully contained behind a partial fence. Bathrooms were clean and at the back of the Playground. Spongy material for children to land on. Comfortable and safe. Most immaculate park I have ever visited. Felt safe there. Peaceful happy place. 📖 ➕ Godspeed! 👼

My child and my niece had a great time at the museum! They have 4 3D printers that the kids can take home a small printed piece both of mine came home with about 3 each. I like that they have many different things to do and have fun and creative ways to let the kids express their imaginations, creativity, and play acting! Defiantly recommend for children

Great museum for kids! Lots to do with many great interactive exhibits. A few repairs needed (biggest was the ball return in the Quack Zone) but with so much to do, my kid’s didn’t know.

A lot if stations are not functional in the museum.. many items are broken or outdated. My 6 y.o. was somewhat enjoying CME. I think this museum will have “wow” effect on kids 3 years of age and younger.. Overall, if you have been to the children’s museum of Indianapolis- than this museum will not be interesting at all..

Visited on a Thursday during spring break. Steady traffic all throughout museum. $10 to get in per person. Had a 4, 5 year old and two adults. Three stories of activities and learning opportunities. Every floor easily has 100+ activities/games from train table, exploring water works, painting, reading, climbing and tunnels, to doctor station complete with life size operation game and all the doctor tools. Plenty of pretend play options like kitchens to make tacos, salads, picking a garden, operating a farm stand and so much more. While there were several activities out of order, we didn’t have any trouble finding enough to do to occupy ourselves for 4+ hours. Staff is friendly and helpful, only downfall is they could be sanitizing things as they walk around. This is our second visit and we will come back again and again. Accomodations: *Free parking two short blocks away, or paid parking closer. *Wheelchair accessible throughout as there are elevators that take you to every floor. *Lots of space for wheelchairs/walkers/gait trainers to manuver about. *Many texture options for other impaired with audio options on several activities. *Clean building, old but not dirty. *Bathrooms on every level. *Birthday room available for rent *Walking distance to other down town activities *Hand sanitizer scattered throughout, especially by highly touched areas like beads, digger activity on main floor. *Mask recommendation but not required, staff do mask
